We have obtained time to observe the effects of the impact on Jupiter of July 19 with the VLA at 3.5 and 1.3 cm. We have also proposed for time to observe at longer wavelengths (6 and 20 cm). If the effects of the impact are similar to those from the impact of SL/9 we expect to see a change in both the thermal emission from the atmosphere and the synchrotron emission from the electrons in the magnetosphere (Kundu et al. 1995; de Pater et al. 1997). We will present images of the time variation of the emission from the atmosphere and magnetospheric electrons for at least the month following the impact.
