Photographic, photoelectric and spectroscopic observations are reported for two recent supernovae, 1989 A and 1989 B. Both objects are Type Ia supernovae with quite typical light curves and spectral properties. The parameters of light curves, absolute magnitudes at maximum light, wavelengths of emission and absorption features and corresponding expansion velocities are derived.
