Evidence is presented that faint meteors observed at the time of closest
approach of the comet Kohoutek on March 1-3, 1974, are, in fact,
associated with the comet. It had been suggested by Kashcheev et al.
(1974), that the Virginids meteor swarm is connected with comet
Kohoutek, but this is refuted.
