This paper contains the results for Mars observed with the Danjon astrolabe (San Fernando Observatory) during the 1977-78 campaign. Twenty-one transits have been observed between January 9, 1978 and February 21, 1978. The corrections to the adopted coordinates (American Ephemeris) as deduced from the five double transits of the planet are given. The same quantities calculated for the ephemerides of the U.S. Naval Observatory (Kaplan et al., 1975) improved by Seidelmann (1978) are given. Definitive results for Mars 1975-76 (improved ephemerides of USNO) are presented.
