From October-November 1979, observations were made of 12 galaxies of high surface brightness using the eastern sector of the radio telescope RATAN-600 at 3.66 GHz. Results indicate that the relative number of objects with radio emission among the galaxies of high surface brightness is 0.32. Also, objects having radio emission are encountered in galaxies with high surface brightness more than twice as often as among randomly chosen galaxies. This result is in agreement with the conclusions drawn by Arakelian (1977) and Malumian (1980).
