Magnetic field measurements from a sounding rocket are described. High resolution magnetic field vector measurements were obtained. A precision star sensor was employed. The magnetic effects of the polar electrojet as well as of field-aligned currents were measured. Close to apogee, small-scale field-aligned current structures identified by combination of E and B-field measurements as active acceleration regions, are observed.
