Observational data obtained by Ariel V are analyzed for the X-ray source A 0535 + 26, which varies with a period of 104 sec and has a very flat spectrum in the range from 3 to 7 keV. The observed count rate of this source is given together with its position (90% confidence), and periodic features at different frequencies are discussed. The light curve is shown to exhibit no signs of eclipses, and indications are found for increased absorption during the growth phase of the X-ray intensity.
