A region of sky in the constellation Norma, near 333 deg galactic longitude, has been observed in the radio continuum and for the presence of hydrogen recombination lines at a frequency of 8.87 GHz with a telescope beam having a HPBW of 2.5 arcmin. The results show that most of the large number (at least 64) of sources in the region form part of a spiral arm at a distance of approximately 3.7 kpc from the sun.
