Space Debris, Observational Accuracy, Root-Mean Square Error, Error Analysis

Scientific paper

The SBG telescope at Yunnan Observatory has already had the observational ability of the space debris, and has obtained abundant observational data. The internal fitting accuracy and external fitting accuracy with the observational data obtained by the SBG telescope are introduced in this paper. The observational accuracy of the space debris in high orbit is 2" approximately, but the observational accuracy of the space debris in low orbit is 7" approximately. Some preliminary analysis of factors of observational error are given.
