The upper bounds on fluxes of photons with energies greater than 10 to the 9th eV from gamma-burst sources are analyzed using the available data. For the observed events, the probability of detection of high-energy gamma radiation is shown to be low. The sensitivity of EAS detectors to events of this kind is evaluated. The detection of a single gamma burst in several years is shown to be possible under conditions of continuous monitoring using the existing instruments.
