Solar Microwave Bursts: Structure

Scientific paper

50 microwave type III bursts recorded at 1 - 2 GHz with the solar-radiospectrometer of Beijing Observatory were analysed. Four kinds of type III bursts were recognized, characterizing by single peaks, multi-peaks, groups, and absorption features. After analysing their bandwidths, frequency drifts, and polarizations the authors obtained preliminarily some of their basic features.
