With the HST and ground-based large telescopes observations of high redshift galaxies, the observed rest-frame wavelength shifts to the ultraviolet range. The usual classification tools (Hubble sequence, Concentration, Asymmetry, etc.) are less and less informative. So, it clearly appears that we need to define new ways of classifying the galaxies that would be valid whatever the rest-frame observed wavelength.
