Several spectra of Halley's comet have been obtained with Fehrenbach's Objective-prism (disp. 100 Å/mm) at the Observatory of Haute-Provence from November 1985 to January 1986 in the spectral range 3800 - 5000 Å (Kodak II aO plates). These spectra show the evolution of the coma through the emission of CN (0,0), C3, CN (0,1), C2 (2,0) + (CH), and principally C2 (1,0) and C2 (0,0) during above months. At the same epoch spectra of comet Hartley-Good (1985l) were taken with the same device and can be compared.
