A narrow emission feature at about 6.5 keV has been detected in the spectrum of Cygnus X-3, using instrumentation on the Ariel-5 satellite. The average strength of the feature is 0.027 plus or minus 0.004 photon sq cm per sec. The strength varies with the phase of the 4.8-hr binary cycle, but is the same as that seen by Serlemitsos et al. (1975) when the overall source intensity was much lower.
