Solar Radio Bursts, Solar Microwave Radiation: Absorption

Two rare phenomena of microwave ultra-fast absorption occurred at 3.76
GHz and 4.00 GHz in the atmospheric layers above the solar active
regions of NOAA/USAF 4808 and 5060 on May 19, 1987 on June 29, 1988,
respectively. Spike emissions appeared at both 2.84 GHz and 1.42 GHz.
