Hubble Constant, Redshift Luminosity Distance Relation
Scientific paper
A Lemai tre-Tolman-Bondi (LTB) model is presented and its applicability to cosmology is studied. The model is considered valid for the description of the universe after matter starts to dominate. Thecase of the model with globally flat spatial sections t = const is used to describe the structure formation. The correction to the CDM spatial two-point correlation function is derived. Cosmological observations in the model are examined. Specific cases of local LTB voids in the globally Friedmann-Robertson -Walker (FRW) cosmological model are studied, based on observed distributions of the matter density. The effect this has on cosmological observations (i.e., the measurement of the Hubble constant and the redshift-luminosity distance relation) is investigated. Compatibility of the model with cosmological observations is demonstrated.
