Short-wave propagation in the ionosphere was investigated using oblique
sounding via CW linear-FM signals on paths 2.7 and 5.8 Mm long. The
characteristics of the short-wave ionospheric channel are examined as a
function of the magnetic disturbance level and the time of day.
