A theoretical model of SS 433 is constructed and analyzed. The ring model of Fang and Ruffini (1979) is modified by inserting a companion star with a binary period of about 13 days, and the precession period of the disk is found to be about 164 days, with the precessional angular velocity opposite to that of the binary and disk. The masses of the system components are evaluated and found to be less than about 50 solar masses, ruling out the possibility that SS 433 is a massive black hole. The different Fourier components obtained for the 6-day periodicities confirm the binary nature of the object.
