The motion of Phoebe is investigated numerically on the basis of the collected observational data from the period 1898-1981. A model is developed, errors in numerical integration are evaluated, and a first set of corrected orbital parameters are calculated using only the more recent observations. These are then employed in a Gauss-Newton scheme to incorporate the entire body of observations, and the resulting parameters are found to fit the observations with a mean-square error of 1.5 arcsec.
