A planet embedded in a gaseous disk experiences tidal torques that result in planet migration. Previous analytic and 1D numerical models have led to predictions of migration rates. More recently, it has been possible to carry out multi-dimensional simulations. I will discuss results of some 3D simulations I have carried out with Gennaro D'Angelo. I will describe how well these results correspond with the predictions of analytic theory.
