A numerical model for EM-field disturbances arising as a result of the interaction of acoustic-gravity waves in the ionospheric plasma is developed, and the vertical structure of these disturbances is calculated. It is shown that these disturbances can penetrate into the neutral atmosphere and be recorded during measurements of variations of the magnetic field and the vertical component of the electric field at the earth's surface. It is concluded that the activity of acoustic-gravity waves in the lower thermosphere can be controlled by changing variations of magnetic and electric fields at the earth's surface.
