The structure of a quasi-perpendicular shock is studied for a wide range of Mach numbers using a hybrid code with electron inertia taken into account. It is shown that a strong standing whistler is formed at the front of the quasi-perpendicular shock, as well as in the case of an oblique shock. The wavelength of the whistler is approximately equal to the scale of the shock ramp. A comparison with theoretical models and experimental data is carried out.
