The two iterative deconvolution algorithms are examined in the context of restoring optical images for the effects of seeing. Both algorithms are easy to program, computationally efficient, and are well suited to image restoration applications even on minicomputers. Examples are presented showing restorations of computer simulated images, CCD observations of Uranus and Neptune, and of the M87 jet. Both procedures are found to give resolution improvements in the restored image comparable to that obtained by the Maximum Entropy Method.
