Scientific paper

The paper proposes a model which enables the numerical integration of the equations of motion of a shock wave generated in a supernova explosion in a medium of uniform density. The integration method confirms energy conservation with an error of 0.2 percent in phase II of supernova-remnant evolution and with an error less than 1 percent in phase III, where the effects of radiative cooling predominate. Phase IV of evolution is also considered.
