Time-dependent nonlinear response generated in a flat gaseous sub-system by a satellite rotating in the same direction as the galaxy is numerically investigated. Besides some features typical for interacting galaxies (bridge and satellite tail) asymmetric spiral structure is excited within the disk about 20-30% of the amplitude, being comparatively near the center of the galaxy. This confirms Kormendy's and Norman's conclusion that satellites of interacting galaxies are one of the possible mechanisms of generation of global spiral pattern.
