The frequent formation of a dust ring in the main shell whose plane of symmetry coincides with the plane of the orbit of the binary-Nova progenitor is revealed on the basis of visual and IR photometry of 11 Novae. The average radius of the main shell during dust condensation is about 4 x 10 to the 14th cm. If the line of sight passes through the dust ring that has formed, a temporary weakening of the visual light is observed similar to that in R Coronae Borealis-type minima.
