Scientific paper

We report new CCD-photometric observations of the old nova V Per. The monitoring was carried out in autumn 2001 in R and V-bands. The eclipsing light curves are presented and analyzed. The value of the orbital period derived by Shafter and Abbott [1] was corrected a little. The period of the system is in the middle of the ``period gap''. In fact a half of the stars in the ``period gap'' belongs to superhumpers.
