We derive the proper motion of this star seemingly at ten thousand parsecs away and one thousand parsecs south of the central plane of the Galaxy. In this work we deduce that the linear velocity of the star is around 100 ± 250 km/s and hence, if the star had its origin in the central plane it may have taken only 9 ± 2 x 105 years to get to its present location.
