Several aspects of nonlinear simulations of hydrodynamic models for pulsating stars are reviewed: the author briefly discusses the numerical treatments of models and input physics for modeling, namely convection, radiative transfer and the improved opacities supplied recently. Interesting applications of nonlinear simulations for pulsating stars are summarized with two categories: weakly dissipative and strongly dissipative models. The discussion is concluded with remarks to hydrodynamic modeling and its applications to pulsating stars.
