An improved method is proposed for solving nonlinear three-dimensional inverse potential problems. Gravitational and magnetic models of relief of the core-mantle boundary are constructed on its basis. They are compared with one another and with a model constructed on the basis of seismological data. It is demonstrated in the example of construction of gravitational two-layer lunar models that the proposed method can be used in the localization of inhomogeneities.
