A rare case, when non-thermal profiles of the [OI] 557.7 nm line with the dissociative components shifted relative to an ordinary Doppler kernel appear in auroras, is considered. Based on an analysis of these profiles, it has been indicated that the dissociative component is shifted because the electric field is present during the recombination of O{2/+} ion with background electrons in the ionospheric F region. The electric field component along the line of sight of the Fabry-Pérot interferometer (24 mV m-1) has been estimated using the Doppler shift of the dissociative component of the 557.7 nm profile emission as an example.
