Extensive non-LTE calculations for C II are presented. Special emphasis is placed on the λ4267 Å line and it is demonstrated that the current results give the observed strength of this line with normal carbon abundance. A grid of equivalent widths is tabulated for lineblanketed LTE model atmospheres at early B and late O star temperatures.
