The case of the non-Gaussian Doppler profiles of spactral lines (at a small optical thickness of the investigation object) is considered. It is shown that such a sitiation may exist not only at the non-Maxwellian velocity distribution, but at the Maxwellian distribution as well. The reason is that turbulent elements may have different radiation intensities, which is a realistic assumption, but this was ignored in the analyses of solar flares and other astrophysical objects.
