Past and present analyses of X-ray surveys may overlook low-surface brightness (LSB) clusters of galaxies. A second look at the Einstein Extended Medium Sensitivity Survey (EMSS) revealed that some clusters were missed in the original search for extended sources. These clusters were not originally detected because the EMSS survey is flux and surface-brightness limited. But high-resolution Chandra images of 5 potential LSB clusters reveal that these clusters have X-ray properties not too dissimilar from other distant clusters. Thus, their absence from the original EMSS cannot be attributed to unusual LSB. By including these missed clusters in the EMSS distant cluster sample, comparisons show that core radii distributions are similar to a large sample of optically-selected clusters. Based upon both the corrected distant CXLF of the EMSS and SHARC surveys, there is no evidence for cluster evolution from z 0.5 to 0.
