Preliminary design work has been completed for a new 4-meter telescope to be built in Northern Arizona. The telescope features a well-corrected, 2-degree-diameter field-of-view for optical imaging at prime focus. By a simple flip of the top end, the telescope can be converted to an F/6 Ritchey-Chretien configuration. Planned applications of the telescope include Kuiper Belt and Near-Earth Object surveys, wide-field near-IR imaging, and optical and infrared spectroscopy. In this paper, we will discuss design and performance features of the telescope and describe early results of an on-going site testing effort.
