The GOES NOP generation of satellites, known on-orbit as GOES-13, GOES-14 & GOES-15 have all been successfully launched. GOES-13 is in operations, GOES-14 is in storage configuration and GOES-15 is in post launch testing. The X-ray Sensor data from GOES-14 are also in operations in order to fill a gap in instrument coverage. There are many changes in what and when data are available to the retrospective users. Instead of ingesting data once per month NGDC now receives GOES data at the close of each UT day. Dozens of new data channels are available and all data are available in their highest resolution in addition to more compact time-averaged versions. GOES NOP Space Weather data have benefited greatly from being used as proxy for future GOES-R data. GOES-R Risk Reduction activities have resulted in the development new formats, browse graphics and access techniques.
