We present solutions of recent new photometric observations of the eclipsing binary EF Boo and of the eclipsing and spectroscopic binary CN And. Radial velocites are incorporated into the solution for CN And. Absolute dimensions are determined for CN And and estimated for EF Boo. For EF Boo, no solutions have been published prior to this paper. We find that an over-contact configuration with a dark spot on either of the two stars fits the observations well. We successfully model CN And as a marginally contact system. The shape of its light curve is dominated by a large dark spot on the more massive component. Reliable absolute dimensions are determined for this system for the first time.
