Progress on new high resolution measurements of the 3-0 quadrupole spectrum of molecular hydrogen using a laser diode spectrometer and the Denison 22 meter long path cell are reported. Densities to 4 amagats and optical paths to 5 km are used in these measurements. Improved line positions, line strengths and density shifts will be presented. These data will be included in an updated set of molecular constants for the ground electronic state of hydrogen(1) . This work has been supported in part by NASA Grant NAG5-4341 and by Denison University. References: (1) Mickelson, M.E. 1998, ASP Conf. Ser., vol. 134, 150.
