As the next X-ray mission after Suzaku, we are proposing a new mission named NeXT, which stands for "New X-ray telescope Mission" or "Non-thermal emission exploration Telescope". Two major purposes are (1) hard X-ray imaging observations and (2) high resolution spectroscopy. The former is made possible by multilayer super mirror telescopes and hard X-ray imaging detectors with CdTe pixels. It will allow us to explore the non-thermal phenomena in the Universe. The latter performance is provided by the pixelated micro-calorimeter, and will be a powerful instrument to examine the dynamics and plasma diagnostics of thermal phenomena. Since this is a unique mission in the time frame of early 2010's, it has to play an important role in the X-ray astronomy in the next decade by international collaborations.
