Infrared objects in the error box of 61 OH positions were detected in a search for counterparts of 66 Type II OH maser sources in the southern galactic plane. JHKL photometry of the sources was performed, and 23 objects were identified as the probable counterparts of the OH masers, the rest most likely being reddened field stars. The energy distribution can be fitted by 480 to 1250 K blackbody curves, and the intrinsic luminosities are consistent with values corresponding to M giant or supergiant stars.
