In the last few months the ADS abstract service has finished the mirror site at the CDS in Strasbourg, France and a new mirror site at NAOJ in Tokyo, Japan. This should improve access for European and East Asian users of the ADS. The data holdings of the article service have increased considerably in the last few months. We now have most of the ApJ, A&A and MNRAS on-line back to 1975. We plan to scan the historical literature in the near future. In order to do that we need older journals. We have a list of journals that we need on-line at: http://adsabs.harvard.edu/pubs/missing_journals.html We have started to work with the Planetary Data System (PDS) to provide links between the ADS abstracts and the PDS data. We will have data descriptions of PDS on-line datasets indexed in the abstract service. When these descriptions are returned, they include links to the on-line data at the PDS nodes. The ADS is accessible through the WWW at: http://adswww.harvard.edu An analysis of the abstract service and article service usage patterns will be presented. Here are the usage statistics for March, 1997: Number of users: 10,773 Number of queries: 217,777 Number of references retrieved: 4,018,181 Number of abstracts retrieved: 160,866 Number of journal pages retrieved: 257,958
