A new type polarimeter was designed to detect the polarized hard X-rays from stellar objects. The performance was investigated by computer simulations based on the characteristics of the polarimeter. The simulations showed that the minimum detectable polarization of the hard X-rays from Crab Nebula was about 13% for balloon observation of 2 hours. We report the design and the characteristics of the new type polarimeter, and the estimation of the detection of the polarized hard X-rays from Crab Nebula.
