In this work, we expand the scalar-isoscalar σ, vector-isoscalar ω and vector-isovector ϱ meson sectors of a recently developed generalized relativistic mean field approach for nuclear matter, by including the δ, ς, φ, σ* and ∫* mesons. Such an extension is supported mainly from the large isospin-asymmetry in neutron matter. Our formulation exhausts the phase space of the meson fields and presents high level of consistency with the concept of naturalness. We hope, this formulation may improve the predictions of global static properties of neutron stars in comparison to more conventional theoretical treatments.
