Neutrino absorption cross sections for Cl-37 are calculated.
Applications are made to problems involving solar neutrinos, collapsing
stars, and the cosmic neutrino mass density. The present Brookhaven
experiment can detect stellar collapses as far away as 5 kpc for
plausible collapse parameters.
