The authors present H I absorption spectra of ten pulsars measured with the Arecibo 305-m telescope. Kinematic distance limits are set for six of them. Electron densities along the lines of sight are determined from the pulsars' dispersion measures and distances. The results are consistent with typical mean electron densities lying within a factor of two of 0.025 cm-3 along kiloparsec-scale paths in the galactic plane.
