Numerical estimates of the cross sections (CSs) for reactions producing d, t, and He-3 in the reaction network of oxygen and silicon burning are presented. Experimental data are tabulated which show that the (p, d) CS is less than 5 percent of the (p, n) CS and less than about 2 percent of the total reaction CS, and that the (n, d) CS is less than 2 percent of the (n, p) CS and less than about 1 percent of the total reaction CS. It is concluded that the neglect of d, t, and He-3 in advanced stellar evolution is justified.
