We present K-band spectra of a sample of Spitzer SAGE LMC sources obtained on the 4-m SOAR telescope in Chile. The near infrared spectral classifications are compared to classifications from Spitzer IRS spectra of the same sources and to the original SAGE IRAC and MIPS photometric classifications.
The SOAR Telescope is a joint project of: Conselho Nacional de Pesquisas Cientficas e Tecnolgicas CNPq-Brazil, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Michigan State University, and NOAO (which is run by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy on behalf of the National Science Foundation).
