We present the near-infrared properties of AGN in the MUltiwavelength Survey by Yale-Chile (MUSYC), four fields of roughly a quarter square degree each with extensive ground-based and space-based imaging data and spectroscopic follow-up. Three MUSYC fields have J- and K-band coverage, to at least J ˜ 23 and K ˜ 22 (AB). Five 10'x10' sub-fields have deeper coverage, to J ˜ 24 and K ˜ 23 (AB) as well as H-band coverage. The deepest X-ray coverage is in the Extended Chandra Deep Field South (ECDFS), where there are deep Chandra and XMM data, and there are additional Chandra and XMM X-ray data in the SDSS1030+05 field. Here we describe the near-infrared properties of X-ray sources in each field, a majority having LX > 1042 ergs/s, which are almost certainly AGN rather than starbursts. In the K-band imaging, which overlaps 90% of the ECDFS, 76% of the AGN have unique near-infrared counterparts, 23% have no apparent counterpart, and 1% are confused or have multiple counterparts. This is a slighty higher percentage than in the optical, where more of the AGN are blank fields. We investigate the infrared color properties and X-ray/IR flux ratios of these AGN, including the small fraction of massive galaxies and red merging galaxies with X-ray detections. With additional Spitzer coverage, we also investigate the dust properties of these AGN candidates and the relative contributions of host galaxy light and AGN continuum in the near-infrared.
