Observations of two regions of the Orion Nebula from 9000 to 16,000 A have been made with a dynamic Michelson interferometer. Relative intensities and surface brightness for emission lines in this region are given. Observation of the 13,165-A multiplet of O I supports the direct starlight excitation mechanism as modeled by Grandi (1975) to explain the permitted line emission.
