World echo (signals with a delay of 1 60 s), originating during decametric radiosounding of conducting regions in the Earth’s gas shell, is considered in the context of the possible presence of plasma objects, which function as delay lines with small loss and distortions, in the near-Earth space. Macro-scale irregularities with a decreased local relative density in the ionosphere, magnetosphere, and more distant regions of the near-Earth space, are considered as such lines. In this case it is assumed that decametric signals propagate orthogonally to the local electron density gradient in a macro-scale plasma formation.
